Our mega in-app purchase module app is still in review at Apple, its probably our most complicated and advanced app yet, so it may take a while for them to go through all the features, which are numerous, including a innovative social media sharing option that incorporates a Facebook app from withn our Apple app and allows the user to share the app with friends.  This social media feature is designed to create a ever-expanding viral loop to help promote the app.
A shareholder today asked us the meaning and significance of “Metatron”.  We chose the name because Metatron sounds like a cool robot, but also because its the name of a top Angel according to ancient spiritual texts.
Metatron inc, is a high-tech company that likes to promote postitive and self-empowering content, so we felt the name was a good fit.
Metatron is known as God’s right hand man, rarely talking to humans spends most of his time keeping the other Angels in line while recording all celestial events, when he isn’t doing God’s bidding. He is a member of a special group that is permitted to look at God’s countenance, an honor most angels do not share. Metatron was once a human since transcended, so he can relate and appreciate the stuggles of humanity.
Metatron’s Latin name is ‘Metator’ – A guide or measurer As in ‘Creational Geometry’ – or ‘Metaphor’. Some say he is an Archangel as in ‘Arcs or Angles of Geometry.

2012 Q1 Revenue was $130,891, a 13% increase from 2011 Q4 Revenue which was $115,546, and a 10% decrease from 2011 Q1 Revenue which was $145,509.

Net Income was $6,397, a 30% increase from 2011 Q1 Net Income of $4,912.

Total Expenses for the first three months of 2012 was $124,494, a 12% decrease from $141,097, the Total Expenses for the same time period last year.

Highlights of the 1st Quarter:

  • The company continued its push to release titles on the Android system, with over 160 android apps released in the quarter, and 225+ overall.
  • Over 240 apps were updated or converted to Universal Apple iOS format or released brand new for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch systems. At the close of the quarter, Metatron had over 1,500 apps currently for sale on iTunes and 1750+ over all platforms.
  • Successful launch of content of the company’s Facebook App Storefront and White Label product offering for top content owners such as Glenn Harrold, Eckhart Tolle, Travel Video Store, and Craig Townshend’s Mindtraining.
  • Acceleration in revenue derived from Subscription apps, with Glenn Harrold’s Ultimate Hypnosis app seeing an estimated 20% increase in subscriptions signed in the first quarter compared to fourth quarter 2011. This individual app has now become one of the company’s highest revenue generating app and revenues are expected to continue to grow in 2012. i-Mobilize expects to release many more subscription apps in 2012, including a subscription mega-app from world renowned spiritual leader Eckhart Tolle.
  • Ad Impression revenue increased in the 1st quarter as Ad impressions grew significantly over the 4th quarter, reaching 5.1 million. i-Mobilize also released free Ad supported content from Eckhart Tolle and MindTraining.net in the quarter. Revenues derived from advertising also increased due to Apple increasing developer percentage of sales from 60 to 70 percent in the quarter.
  • Metatron/i-Mobilize had a quarterly record of 650k+ iOS App combined downloads and updates for the quarter, which represents a sequential quarterly increase of over 24% compared to the 4th quarter 2011.
  • Metatron hired more programmers in the quarter to facilitate greater acceleration and turnaround time in the release of content on all its distribution channels.

2nd Quarter Outlook

Management is energized by the increased diversification and repeatability of its latest app offerings. The company has achieved tangible success in converting mid-tier content into high quality digital media, and rapidly releasing that content to the public with an established distribution infrastructure. As a result, the company is gaining growing recognition and traction as a key player in the app space while receiving increased attention from higher tier content owners. Management intends to aggressively pursue these opportunities with the intent that they ultimately result in key agreements or collaborations to improve the growth of the company. In the second quarter of 2012, the company expects the launch of some short-term and long-term initiatives. Namely:

There have been 3 billion downloads of App Store applications designed specifically for Apple’s iPad, representing 19 percent of all iOS App Store downloads, a new study has found.
ABI Research announced in a press release on Wednesday that it has estimated 3 billion applications have been cumulatively downloaded since the iPad first launched in 2010. The iPad represents nearly a fifth of all cumulative iOS downloads, despite the fact that it debuted nearly three years after the iPhone, and two years after the iOS App Store opened.
Apple isn’t scheduled to report its holiday quarterly sales until January 24, but Verizon Wireless has just noted that it has sold 4.2 million iPhones in the last three months of 2011, double its previous quarterly figure.
The growth of iPad-specific applications and downloads of iPad software is comparable to the explosive start the iPhone had when the App Store first opened. Apple announced that iPhone and iPod touch application downloads had topped 3 billion in early January of 2010, or less than 18 months after the App Store opened.

The week between Christmas and New Year’s saw record iOS and Android app downloads of 1.2 billion, while the two platforms saw a total of 20 million device activations during the so-called “power week,” making it their largest week ever, according to a new analysis.
Mobile analytics firm Flurry detailed the holiday week figures in a report on Monday. The data reflects a continued trend where app makers see their biggest sales surge in the week following Christmas, rather than during the usual pre-Christmas shopping season.
According to the report, combined iOS and Android new app downloads from December 25-31 topped 1.2 billion, representing 60 percent growth over the weekly average from the first two weeks in December. 242 million application downloads came on Christmas Day alone. By comparison, the week before Christmas saw 857 million downloads, driven largely by a boost in downloads on Dec. 24.
The U.S. held a large lead over other countries in terms of total app downloads during the holiday week, consistent with the firm’s earlier estimates that the American installed base is the world’s largest with 109 million. The report claimed the U.S. saw 509 million application downloads, or 42.3 percent, last week.
China, which has grown to become the second-largest app market, came in second in terms of app downloads during the period with a total of 99 million. The U.K. came in third with 81 million downloads, followed by Canada, Germany and France.

The Company is proud to announce App Revenue and Downloads for the first two days of this week after Christmas 2011, are up on average of 50% compared to the week before.  Overall App Revenue is up 20% this last two weeks as compared to the two weeks before. Month over Month revenue is up 14%.  Similar to last year, App revenue really ramps up after Christmas and we expect January to be the best month for sales.  The first two days of sales this week were the best Monday and Tuesday for sales in over six months.
Today we added another 9 Android apps making our current total 81. This weekend we expect to start uploading our new Android Movie apps with brand new un-released content. Android still accounts for less than 10% of our daily revenue, but December 25th was a record Android sales day, 100%+ higher than the same day a week before.  We exepect Android revenue will be comprable to Apple revenue as we start to get similar numbers of apps uploaded, our goal being 1500+ Android apps, which is about what we have for sale now on iTunes.

He has worked with countless celebrities, sports stars, business leaders and also appeared as a hypnosis expert on many international media programs including NBC, Good Morning America, Coast to Coast Radio, Fox Sports and MTV. Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android together have reached close to 55 percent market penetration of the estimated 200 million potential smart device purchasers in the U.S., while the two platforms have the most room to grow in China, which has 122 million untapped potential users, according to a new analysis.
iOS, Android activations surge 353% on record setting Christmas Day.
Christmas Day saw a massive jump in activations of iOS and Android devices, and represented a 353 percent growth in daily activations when compared to the previous 20 days of December. The 6.8 million Christmas activations set a new one-day record, shattering last year’s best day by over 140 percent.
In the first 20 days of December, mobile device activations tracked by analytics firm Flurry were around 1.5 million each day. But on Dec. 25, it identified 6.8 million new iOS and Android activations, representing 353 percent growth.
iPhone app downloads in the U.S. during November saw an 83 percent rise from a year ago, while the aggregate volume of the Top 200 ranked free apps for Apple’s handset grew to 5.65 million downloads per day.
In a report released on Wednesday, mobile app marketing research firm Fiksu found that the launch of the iPhone 4S greatly impacted the volume of downloaded apps, boosting year-to-year numbers in November by 83 percent.
The firm says the uptick was expected as device launches bring high interest from new owners, noting that their “appetite for app discovery and engagement is strong.”
There were 150M apps for mobile devices downloaded on Christmas Eve, and 242M apps downloaded on Christmas, according to mobile analytics firm Flurry, The New York Times reported. Christmas Day downloads of apps for Apple (AAPL) and Google’s (GOOG) Android operating system more than doubled compared with prior years and set records, Flurry added, the newspaper said.

Sunday, December 18th was the best sales day for apps in over six months, and record sales day for Android apps.  The increased revenues are due to more apps being released on multiple platforms and traditionally strong Holiday season. Sunday sales were 14% higher than the previous top sales day last Wednesday. Overall revenue is up 21% for the last month compared to the month before.  Friday December 16th was also an all-time record day for subscription app sales, with a 46% month over month growth rate on those particular apps.  Android apps sales are also 100%+ higher this week than the week before.
11 iPhone/iPad apps were approved over the weekend and will appear in the “New” Section of their respective categories. 8 Android apps were released also, with another 10 or so coming out today or Tuesday.  Our goal is to eventually have 1500+ apps on Android like we do now on iTunes.
We will be releasing the back catalog of our top selling client Glenn Harrold on Android in the next few weeks, adding to his already impressive list of top selling apps.  In general we will be releasing our top sellers and brand new content on Android, including movies and audiobooks not available on Apple devices yet.  So far our Android apps are being rated about 4.5 out of five stars in the Android Marketplace.
The Company has begun the process of releasing top-selling titles in other sales channels on iTunes and other platforms.  Recently Glenn’s top 2 titles were released in the Music section of iTunes, and more are planned.
